The Origin of Las Pirámides del Ka
(Words from the Founder)

This page is based on two Great Teachers of Life:
‘‘TIME AND EXPERIENCE’’, through testimonials.

The origin of Las Pirámides del Ka dates back to 1975, although I must say that, for as long as I can remember, I grew up with the feeling that I had to find "Something," and with that "Something," I had to do "Something more." I searched in many places, I asked many people, but no one could show me what I was looking for. In my heart, I silently saw an external world that I didn't like, and I only knew that I wanted to do something to change it.

Tired of searching and a little angry with God, I decided to stop the search. That decision lasted about a year until one day everything changed; I saw death face to face. Yes, it was a "near-death" experience in 1975. I was trapped behind a reef in the sea for 45 minutes, feeling exhausted and seeing no way to shore. I knew I would die. In that instant I said goodbye to my family, and a film of my life flashed before my eyes. I clearly said, "I cannot die if I haven't found that 'something' I came to do in this world," and I promised God I wouldn't rest until I found it.

At that moment, everything around me filled with light, and I saw four angels who kept me afloat. My heart was filled with infinite peace and immense gratitude. I knew I had made a pact with God. After 45 minutes, they managed to rescue me, and when my body touched the sand, I can only say that I was a "reborn" person. It was my first mystical experience.

I then resumed my search intensely. I had experiences with medicinal substances like Psilocybin that caused altered states of consciousness, and I understood the Unity of Creation and the Invisible World. However, I knew I should find an authentic Spiritual Path that would lead me to these experiences without altering consciousness with external substances.

That's how I went to a Hermetic school in Guatemala, where I found two genuine teachers with whom I had a deep and true relationship for many years. They put me in contact with the Invisible World and with Spiritual Guides who trained me through dreams, lucid dreams, meditation, and ethereal faculties (Kadena del Ka, Kadena de Magdala, and Kadena de Asís). Invisible Masters, but visible to those who can see.

Later, in a lucid dream, a Light appeared to me and telepathically told me: "By the end of the Century, the world will be in great turmoil, and we must build a Spiritual Center in a place with abundant water and three natural pyramids. People will come there from all four corners of the earth, and that is your Mission in life." I asked, "Are you sure?" It said, "Yes, and if you agree, we will help you." At that moment, I knew that the "something" I had been searching for, I had finally found.

And that is how the School of Dreams, "Las Pirámides del Ka,” on Lake Atitlán, was born.

THE MISSION

Las Pirámides del Ka is a "Dream" school that aims to support students in becoming Better People and Contributing positively to our Planet through a deeper understanding of who we are, what surrounds us, and the Invisible World, through studies and practices of Yoga, Meditation, Metaphysics, and Silent Retreats.

CONSTELLATIONS

DEL KA

The 12 Constellations del Ka are 12 groups of students of Las Pirámides at Energetic Points on the Planet. They have been forming since 2017, through an Initiation Ceremony in the country or region. Each Constellation has a person in charge of coordinating Full Moon Ceremonies and transmitting Messages from the Temple to the different groups of students. We call this person the Guardian del Ka.

Del Ka Initiations: For those who feel identified with the Temple, we have The Path of the Initiate, which lasts 33 years and is traveled through 7 Initiations.

    I'm the guardian of the constellation Del Ka in Switzerland and western Europe since 2018.

    My journey at the Las Piramides del Ka has completely changed my life. Beyond the metaphysics classes, the courses on dreams and meditations, I found a path of simplicity and truth. I try to be a good person and use my words and actions to bring light and faith around me.

  • Moon Course & Sun Course 2003
    I arrived at Las Piramidas at the end of September 2003 following a warm recommendation from a good friend of mine who had completed the Moon Course. In October 2003, I joined the Moon Course. This course changed my life. I went through a deep spiritual journey that mainly taught me to look within. Through the meditations, yoga, and the teachings of the course, I discovered the light within myself.

    It was the beginning of a journey in which I understood that my reflection in the universe affects the outer world, and that I am part of the whole.

    Toward the end of the course, I had a spiritual experience that left me with no doubt that I needed to continue to the Sun Course. From December 2003 until the end of March, I attended the Sun Course. That was truly a consciousness-changing experience. The connection between the microcosm and the macrocosm became one of the most valuable journeys of my life. For the first time in my life, I truly understood the mirror that the universe and creation offer us, and it carried me into a completely new space in my life.

    There too, the meditations, lessons, and yoga were an inseparable combination in an incredible process of getting to know my inner self and creation itself. The silence during the course became a process of connecting to the whole. Honestly, I have no words to describe that divine feeling. The understanding that we have the ability to spread so much light into the world, and receiving tools to truly live it, is worth more than gold. The connections between the people in the courses, and especially with the wonderful Piramidas team, feel like a home inside the heart.

    Even though 22 years have passed, Las Piramides is my family.I have returned there again and again, and I was also blessed with the opportunity to become a Temple Keeper in the Constellation Israel community. Every month, we have the privilege of holding the Full Moon ceremony, connecting to the consciousness of love, and sending light to the planet.

    Las Piramides has been an inseparable part of my life since 2003. For anyone who wishes to truly know themselves and experience creation in perfect synergy, this is the best choice you can make for yourself.

    Discovering Las Pirámides del Ka was like coming home. The Temple and the teachings of the Invisible World felt like a deep remembrance and a missing piece to a puzzle. Coming here and meeting Chaty and the other teachers gave me a sense of direction, of joyful purpose and a connection to a Collective Mission that is grounded and true. 

    I am forever grateful to the Temple, to the Spiritual Guides, to the Family del Ka, and to God for the opportunity to grow in this lineage.  Light to Planet Earth.

    Sun Course 2010
    Doing the moon course was one of the most exhilarating months of my life. I had actually gone to San Marcos for other reasons but was regularly visiting Las Piramides because of their incredible library. A friend suggested doing the course and when a negative pattern in my life suddenly repeated itself, I thought, “This it, I’ve got to do it, I need a real change”. And that is exactly what I found.

    My whole life, I had felt there was more to existence than just the physical world. Now it all made sense. Healing, learning, growing and understanding. The mix of yoga, meditation and metaphysics gives such a solid basis for both expansion and integration. I knew within a week that I wanted to carry on with the Sun course and have completed that too.

    My spiritual path has taken me all over the world and into many traditions, but it’s the teachings and experiences through Las Piramides del Ka which help tie it all together. Eternally grateful that I arrived at their door.

    Sometimes we are gifted with a place, an experience, that is like finding a key that fits perfectly into the locked door of one’s deepest questions. For me, coming to Las Pirámides was finding this key, and it opened the door to an understanding and path that I had been seeking for a long time. It has forever changed my life.

    I first got to Del Ka Pyramids in 2015 mainly interested in doing yoga and meditation.  But the moon couse, specially because of the lectures in metaphysics, turned out to be the most amazing experience in my life.  It helped me connect my mind and heart and awaken in me the desire to cultivate a deeper connection with God and learn more about cretion, life, myself and others.

    My time at Las Piramides was deeply meaningful to me. It was a safe cocoon where I could finally slow down, breathe and study yoga, metaphysic and meditation. What touched me the most was that the teachings never tried to convince me to believe in anything. Instead, they offered simple and profound ways to reconnect with my own inner wisdom and hear the quiet voice of my heart.

    Finding Las Piramides in 2016 was undoubtedly the true beginning of my Spiritual Awakening and journey.  Nestled in the beautiful portal of Lake Atitlan, my time during the moon course felt like remembering parts of myself that I had been searching for my whole life.  The course content was so comprehensive and covered so many things I had researched in years leading up to discovering the Moon Course, when I realized there was a school teaching esoteric metaphysics in a structured course I instantly knew I had to go check it out.  

    I had completed a Vipassana a few months before the moon course, so I feel like I went in with a solid understanding of meditation.  Over the 4 weeks of the moon course I felt a tangible deepening of my meditation practice and left with the certainty that I had found the path I wanted to walk down for the rest of my life.  

    I returned the following year for the Sun Course, and the best way I can describe my experience is that it allowed me the time and space in lessons and in silence to forge a strong and clear connection with my Higher Self.  Connecting to this higher level of my intuition has been a North Star for me these last 10 years, and I have returned to Guatemala many times since my first visit to sit in on the full moon ceremonies in the temple whenever I could.  

    I have been leading full moon ceremonies virtually for the past couple of years, and staying in tune with the moon cycles and staying connected to the temple & my Las Piramides familia has been an anchor and reminder to tend my internal world and do my best to bring more light to the planet earth in every way I possibly can.  

    Chaty is unlike any teacher I have ever encountered in my life.  There is a tangible energy that I feel when I am learning from her, and I am so grateful for all the ways I have grown in my time studying at Las Piramides.  My faith, my trust, my knowing that there is so much more beyond this physical life is all due to the time I have spent in connection with Las Piramides and I highly recommend the Moon Course for any seeker of the Truth looking to find a connection to God and to Self to cultivate a relationship with the world beyond this Earthly Realm.

    From the moment I heard about the Moon Course I knew I needed to go to Guatemala to do it! I flew to Guatemala and arrived at lake Atitlan to find Las Piramides. The grounds and accommodations of the school are beautiful and very special. A quiet retreat in the center of a town bursting with new age spiritual chaos. I received my first initiation after I completed the Moon course in January 2020. During the fullmoon ceremony, I learned the schools mission; “Light to the planet Earth” and I knew I was where I belonged. I went on to do the Sun course in December 2021 where I received my second initiation. 

    The courses were life changing and so profound that I heeded the call to move to Lake Atitlan to be near Las Pyramides. I was initiated in Baptismo in June 2023 and from there into teacher training to be a part of the school I hold near to my heart. I am not finished studying with the school yet!

    All the teachers here are knowledgeable and supportive. Studying with Chaty, the schools founder and owner is a blessing and an honour. What she shares is what she lives, it is her life’s work. 

    As guardian at El Arka, the schools second location, I am privileged to hold space for students in their processes of transformation during the Sun Course. It truly is an honour and a privilege.

    I am currently at El Arka (Las Piramides II) in the Sierra Madre Highlands of Guatemala, midway through the Sun Course, a beautiful program focused on how aspects of self interact and benefit from cohesion. In this

    high-altitude landscape, integration becomes a lived reality. The ancient roots, the deep water of Lake Atitlán, and the shifting mountain mist provide an elemental sensory anchor, grounding my inquiries. Above it all, the bright sun reveals the spiritual dimension of nature as a

    balancing and life-giving presence. 

    The training here extends into dual inquiry of waking and dream mind. Through thematic

    meditation and active imagination, we interact with the psyche and a symbolic landscape to receive guidance that emerges from behind the veil of the ordinary mind. Parallel to this is the nocturnal apprenticeship, heightening capacity for lucid inquiry and making vivid the correspondences that arise in the dream state.

    Working with symbolic frameworks, such as the Tree of Life, as foundational maps is increasing

    my understanding of how personal experience connects to broader, macrocosmic systems,

    helping me find clearer direction for my work and impact.

    I love it here and I intend to do their next retreat, Baptismo, as well as their teacher training program.

Moon Course

$1,200.00

The general program of the Moon Course starts on full moon and finishes on full moon.

The full course is a month-long course but it is possible to do one day, one week or more depending on your schedule. Classes take place Monday through Saturday.  There are three daily sessions at 7 am, 10:00 am and 5 pm. Sunday is a day off.
