Christmas dinner at Las Pirámides

Although Las Pirámides is mentioned in all Lonely Planets that include Guatemala, the Lonely Planet of Guatemala, Belize & Yucatan is the most kind by naming a stay in the pyramid cabins one of the five main highlights of travelling in Guatemala.

Let's Go wrote in their guide on Central America: "The grounds are suitably inviting and peaceful, and there's a very good vegetarian restaurant. They also offer spiritual healing sessions and excellent massages."

The Rough Guide Central America says "The grounds of the retreat are beautiful, the pyramid cabañas comfortable and the vegetarian food delicious."
